To make matters worse, didn't we later sing 'you're spurs and you know you are' to him?

It's clearly catching on whatever it's called - Marcus Rashford was at it earlier.

    Coronavirus

I don't mean to sound pedantic, but I wonder how the term 'no pre existing conditions' is being defined and used here. For example, does it mean absolutely no diagnosed health conditions at all whatsoever, or does it mean none that are recognised as causing vulnerability to covid? Prior to...

That certainly wasn't the impression I took from the footage - I believe it was the flag actually attached to the monument that she was attempting to ignite.

He was an absolute class act, I was gutted when we didn't extend the loan (or whatever the details were) - we should have kept him for as long as he was able to keep going. Irrespective of age, his kind of quality is a rare commodity.

I hope a similar fate awaits the woman caught on camera attempting to set fire to the Union flag on the cenotaph.

If that's the kind of standard he wants to be held to, sure.

I'm not disputing that. What I'm not entirely clear on is whether or not he'd seen the comments before he read them out, and then whether he said anything at the time to denounce the comments in question after he read them.

I saw what you linked. I still don't think I can claim to know the full details, and I still don't think it's all that much of a defence.

The insinuation you made, referred to above, stemmed from my post therefore appeared to be aimed at me. So I'm just clearing up your flimflam again.

Were they? Care to name names on who this was? Because it certainly doesn't include me.

I don't know the full details of what happened, but that sounds like an incredibly weak defence to me.

I chose to address one line for the simple reason that was the part of your post I found questionable. Isn't that how these things work?

Can't say it surprises me to hear this. What became of the Eddie Chambers business in the end?

These particular 'peaceful demonstrations' occurred in direct contravention of the current health guidelines, so I'm not sure you're on the strongest ground with this point.

I've long suspected this was a big factor in the lack of border restrictions earlier on.

Caught a little bit of a BBC piece on the South Korean response to covid the other day. It showed staff at an airport telling arrivals very bluntly, this is the policy, violate it and you'll be deported. Just imagine the uproar if UK border staff gave instructions even half as strong as that...

    Black Lives Matter

This is interesting. In one of the looting videos I saw last week, what appeared to be a homeless black American man was sitting outside one of the stores that was being attacked. When the windows or doors were smashed in and the mob descended, he got up and walked away with his hands in the...
