    There is a huge amount of dross amongst the good players. Only market forces dictate they get paid what they do. I have no issue with the talented ones.

    On point, absolutely nailed it in those episodes. As a series I think we’re looking at breaking bad status in terms of awesomeness. it rarely happens where a show can sustain the high level through multiple seasons. Roll on season 4.

    That’s a good question and difficult to answer at least until we know the % cut and subsequent amount. It could also prove to be moral minefield.

    That’s a plausible idea and I’m sure he would agree some form of top up. It was good to see the Health Secretary(responding to a question in the daily update) saying premier league footballers should take a pay cut. Our Daniel started the debate and now politicians are backing him.

    Levy is getting pilloried for this but slightly unfair. People need to read the statement in full and he’s been smart by putting the emphasis firmly on the players to agree a wage cut. I presume this will be with the pfa etc a collective wage cut across the PL rather than individual.
