This is what I was going to say.... bizarre criticism. He was immense today and you've to have a weird agenda to think otherwise. It was an objectively good performance. I personally like having this anchor, it also freed up Mason more to attack rather than two players sort of doing both, which...

    Son Heung-Min

Prove what i thought in the match, okay, some nice stuff, some not so nice stuff, not a bad debut, but still can see a spark of something to get excited about. Just hope it comes quickly.

    Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

Yeah, easily our worst performance, but by the end Chadli had two sitters, Kane missed a decent effort, Lamela an easy-ish header. We had some injuries too and new players. I'm not convinced by Poch, but at east we got a result, and our performances against Stoke first half and Everton give me hope.

    Ryan Mason

Ha, he had an excellent game and if he can do that most weeks then I'll happily say I was wrong. I just have my opinion on him, no agenda, no wish or desire to see him fail; the opposite in fact. One excellent game doesn't make an excellent player, but it was certainly good to see!

    Alex Pritchard

Yeah, worrying if he isn't injured that Winks got in ahead of him... Want him to be as good as he looks!!

    Nabil Bentaleb

Limited way of thinking. Not onmy was it just one game (and he looked good against Everton) Masons injured now so we may miss him.... All about depth!

Or maybe your negativity has infected your brain so much you just see what you want to see :)

    Eric Dier

He's just getting better and better in this position. Great to see. Also felt he freed mason up today to be a little more attacking. Wonder if this will be his position or just a temporary thing. The last thing we or he needs is to become a utility player.

I liked Erik Lamela before it was cool

Aside from the assist, he looked great instantly, battling as he always does, but his passing was working, the guy has so much ability, but it rarely pays off, this little cameo shows how good a player he could be if he could do that most games. Would be a great turnaround if he ends up...

Hold my hands up. Subs made a big difference, Townsend dangerous, but lamela looked absolutely excellent. With eriksen injured lets play him in the number 10 again. Best game from mason. Looked knackered early in the second half but got stronger and stronger before the injury. Kane's...

And now lamela for Alli who's been our most dangerous player. And Mason looks utterly fudged. Pochetino.... Please prove me wrong, you look terrible.... And Kane... Oh boy.... He looks like the player we all thought he would be.... PLEASE DONT BE A ONE SEASON WONDER!

Indians negativity is painful. I mentioned it a while ago, just jumps to the negative point on anything, even when he has no idea about any of the specifics. Just the most negative opinions on everything.... Hope you're more positive in your personal life!

    Andros Townsend

The guy is awful. He's direct. That it. He isn't that quick despite what people seem to think. He can't cross, can't shoot, doesn't bring anyone into play, runs into blind alleys. Gutted he's still with us to be honest. His value will only decrease

I hope to see: Lloris, walker, Toby, Jan, Rose, Dier, Bentaleb, Son, Alli, Chadli, Kane But we all know Mason will be there instead of Alli. If Townsend starts ahead of Son I'll be venturing back into the pochetino thread.... Hope Njie and Pritchard are on the bench and can come on as...

How many goals would Son have to score to meet your expectations?

@HereComesTheSon what do your edict he could get for us? What do you know of him playing as a lone striker? What should we excited about? What should be worried about?

Vs Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool

Can someone who knows their squads do the two teams for each club like I did in the first post? Be good to see it laid out like that to see what two sets of 11 we all have. I think arsenals defence lacks depth, their midfield lacks depth and their striking lacks depth. But their attacking...

But it IS your opinion. People have already said NJie, Son, Chadli or Lamela can play up front. Oh look, someone has a different opinion. In fact, you'd have to be pretty stupid to think Kane will play every single game, and that's not even my opinion.

    The post transfer window discussion

Maybe it'll be the making of lamela. Play him as a striker.

So what two teams can our rivals out together? Is their squad depth far superior to ours?
