    James Maddison

It’s on a plate for Southgate here. Rashford wide left to stretch them, Maddison central. Both players in their best/club position. Instead Southgate wedges Henderson central - often in an advanced slot, and Maddison higher up off the left (allbeit drifting and crowding the middle).

This is similar to last week. Bournemouth pressed us aggressively for 25 mins then we settled and found rhythm and they had to drop off.

Solomon looks like a genuine goal threat (scoring and making) taking up those narrower positions.

We’ve had a couple of openings around the box and not used them that well. They had one minor opening and we fluffed our defending of it.

    Greedy from Solomon there.

The use of white socks almost an acknowledgment of the clash.

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

I like the ins. The ones we’ve seen have been good and I like the idea of Johnson and him being an Ange choice. I’d have liked one more in - maybe LCB. I think we’re ok in midfield - although I do think Gallagher would have been an upgrade on PEH and solved a couple of issues. Not signing a...

    Daniel Levy - Chairman

I don’t particularly blame him for any player not coming in or going out….but….you have to agree the personnel situation (Munn/DOF) is a bit of a sh!t show. So by proxy he’s accountable for the collective lack of action and not fulfilling our objectives in the transfer department.

    Brennan Johnson

Agree. Very rare and unlikely. Also can’t see us dropping 50 cash. Hence no deal unless price drop considerably.

    Brennan Johnson

Exactly why we are only in for certain players. Has to meet the criteria of cash + player. So essentially means we’re only likely to get someone from a low(er) team. Looking like the following boxes need to be ticked for a forward purchase before Friday. HG Lower team Will take 1+ of our...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

It comes down to horses for courses. PEH and Skipp for example have shown that they can blunt a game for you when 2 goals up. We all know that they aren’t creative types. So at 0-0 away to a premier league team in a knock out comp, is it wise to play both of them along with another new entry in...

So we’re back to coin over trophy. Is that an Ange thing? Or one of his objectives? You seem more in tune with that side of it than me so I’m curious as the where the top 4 priority comes from. Is it in the paperwork? Mentioned in corridors? Written on toilet doors? Anything official in Ange’s...

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham FC ***

Exactly - the 2nd team won’t be playing in the EFL Cup anymore. As my post stated yesterday - the fringe players can come on for 20s and 30s in any game where we go 2 or 3 goals up - league or cup. Then if injury strikes, one of them gets a chance to start, and so on.

What are our priorities? FYI - Ange said he’s come here to win trophies.

By ‘people’ in my post I’m referring to the ones who have said on here tonight that the team was fine - and have defended Ange since the game ended.

People are brushing off the fact we’ve gone out of one of two winnable trophies because it wasn’t taken seriously. I’m not brushing it off, I’m disappointed. If that sounds hysterical to you then maybe it further enhances my point.
