The Caulker chance was actually down to Dier losing his man but Kabs did have a few occasions where he could've done a little better using his head against qpr. That video is great. We've needed someone with that sort of attitude for a while now IMO. He's quite a big fella too

The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Just seen they paid 20 mill for Markovic. Serious question here, is he that good? I know he's only 20 and they can sell him on later, but thats a huge sum for a 20 year old who hasn't proven anything in any of the top 3 or 4 leagues.

    Welbeck

Think I'm right there with you. Ability wise, I've gotten the impression when watching him that he's below guys like Lambert, Mirallas, and Podolski.

    Other Clubs Transfer Thread

To be fair, I don't think he's wide of the mark with that statement. Young's the only one I'd somewhat rely on for a club the size of Manure. They may have two big threats in rvp and Rooney, but other than Mata they are seriously lacking in midfield for a team with the expectations they have.

    Eric Dier

I do want to add a slight word of caution here as he showed a slight propensity to lose his man on a few set pieces today. If for example Caulker scores on his chance towards the end, some might have a slight change of opinion. He's a great talent though to be sure. Just needs good coaching...

****TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v AEL Limassol UEFA Europa League Play Off****

****ed about the stream but can't really ask more of the result especially considering how poor we were for the first 60 minutes. Lamela made us look like a one man team

****TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v AEL Limassol UEFA Europa League Play Off****

Halftime Stats don't look so doom and gloom. Too bad our play looked it. I honestly am thinking there has to be an academy striker who can offer more of a threat than Soldado. I'm hoping Sandro on for Paulinho second half. It might seem defensive, but it would allow Bentaleb more...

Bale would've scored on that counter… :tumbleweed:

I think the only name this commentator ever says is Carlitos. Getting kind of annoyed by Carlitos.

For me, half-time changes of: Sandro for Paulinho Dembele for Holtby And around the 60th minute Chadli for Soldado.

****TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v AEL Limassol UEFA Europa League Play Off****

Kane shows more signs than the rest of our 11 of knowing when to play the ball in and even looks comfortable doing so. Paulinho is offering nothing. Soldado does nothing to make you think he's even a threat. We need somebody leading the line who at least strikes a little bit of fear in the...

Bentaleb is definitely the one playing deeper of the two, but Paulinho… what does he do?

****TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v AEL Limassol UEFA Europa League Play Off****

It started out with an awful pass from Verts, then culminated in Paulinho going in with a really limp-wristed attempt to win the ball. Paulinho OUT.

    Eric Dier

Re: Welcome Eric Dier! The most absurd thing about that goal imo is that it started with a 19 yr old Bentaleb who's yelling at his forwards to come show for the ball. Was then taken by a 21 yr old Kane who showed pretty good vision and touch to find that pass; and then was finished off by a 20...

Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

I know it's easy to say this at 1-1 in their game against Southampton, but the hole that Suarez left behind seems to be greater than what they were hoping. It could just be that they're trying to cope with learning how to play without him against a good Southampton side, but when they get the...

    Hugo Lloris

Re: Hugo Lloris - part two I don't know how this thread hasn't been bumped yet, but imo should get second honors for MOTM after that save midway through the second to keep it all square at 0's. Was a fantastic save.

Surely Dawson comes on? Would be somewhat demeaning if Poch thinks Capoue is more capable

****TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs west sham united************

I think we'll see Kane and Holtby come on at some point given their consistent effort in pressing. Think we might just hit them on the break and see it out to 1-0.

Dier just looks real solid at RB. He's not going to offer much going forward looks like, but he isn't diving in or doing stupid stuff either. I might go: Eriksen - Adebayor - Lamela Capoue - Bentaleb Rose - Dawson - Kaboul - Dier Lloris
