    It is sad news. Nigel Mansell winning at Silverstone in around 1992 in the Williams car was what got me hooked on F1. I climbed the fence at Beckett's corner and ran onto the track along with about 50,000 others.

    Damn right it's strange. Blowing yourself up in a taxi as it approaches a hospital hardly seems the most well thought through terrorist attack. Didn't even kill the cabbie. If only all suicide bombers could so accommodating.
