    not necessarily , it could just be Poch is rewarding townsend for doing a good job. townsend has been part of some good performances while lamela has been sat down it could be just a case of lamela being told to observe something in townsend and / or the team some times these young players...

    True on both counts but when townsend plays in our team he doesn't actually play as a wing forward...he is a winger out there. the reason i added his lack of appreciation as a wing forward was because he is in direct competition with lamela.....and lamela tactically plays the wing forward...
