I've had some misgivings of the way we play etc, but FFS come on!

Historically good in terms of steady upper-level table finishes and growth in value of club off the pitch. Historically bad in terms of trophies (2010-2019 was first decade since the war we haven't won at least one trophy; that record imo was why we are/were? a big club..)

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

A lot of the MSM are very pro-Israel (or at least happy to go along with the Israeli viewpoint on the long-term Middle Eastern issues) and i think were very scared that views that could normally be airbrushed away/dismissed as being "fringe" would now get a bit more legitimacy and certainly...

However, i don't think Liverpool were amazing or anything. If Arsenal had their full team i think they might actually give Liverpool a bit of a pasting tbh. Slot has them more cautious/measured in their play compared to Klopp's 'heavy metal' and i think for good reason tbh...

Eh? What do you mean? And what's that got to do with trying to kick MVDV on the floor and fight half our team?

Seriously, what was up with Kudus?? Was there a lot of niggle between him and many of our players before he decided to kick MVDV multiple times when he was on the floor? That seemed to come out of absolutely nowhere!

Great that Liverpool won (sorry @Baleforce ). Next Sunday Arsenal have a big match at home vs Liverpool knowing they need to win otherwise they are at least 4 points off the top (maybe even more if City beat Southampton at home the day before. Love to see how that pressure is dealt with if they...

Great result in the end. Still some heart-stopping defending, but often GREAT going forwards. Special shout outs to Solanke (tireless running, strength and skills), Kulusevski (tireless running, strength, skills and passing), Johnson (tireless running creating lots of space) and Sarr (it's...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

True...but they can afford not to keep clean sheets because of their firepower across the forward lines and attacking midfield. But, yeah, if we win clean sheets take secondary importance..

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I guess we'll see...this weekend would be a welcome start for me to show things can/will change... Then after that: Palace away, Villa at home then Ipswich at home before the next international break. We really need to be picking up 10 points minimum from that run. I'd also think 2 clean sheets too

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I actually think the way we play (high line, high press) means that the number chances that we create are usually more than the chances we conceded. I'm not altogether sure that the quality we create is always better quality than the ones we concede...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I think this is where the eye test comes key and trumps whatever we want to do with stats...how many games in the last year have we kept a clean sheet and looked relatively comfortable doing so, i.e. we or any neutral football fans cannot look at said clean sheet and say "wow, how did the...
