... Has retired. Great player on his day but 8 goals in 140+ appearances for us... Can't believe that's all he got. Good luck to him.

    Archie Gray

Ali Gold has just made the point that if we do sign Gray we have a ready made deputy to a Porro as well as a CM. He's played at Rb for Leeds, albeit in the championship, and with his being a midfielder by nature it will suit him advancing into midfield from fullback. So now Milan can have...

    Archie Gray

I have to say this one feels like one of paratici's "have a list for each position and if one comes up for a good price, act" I'm not saying we didn't want him but I suspect it was all a bit last ditch as Leeds realised they couldn't shift enough debt via other players. Let's be honest ignoring...

    Conor Gallagher

I think he would be dogged by the stigma of where he came from and whatever his form would never be accepted. Phillips, Gray and Bergvall are much more indicative signings of Spurs of late, young and full of potential, not already discovered and aspiring to be better. I doubt he will stay at...

    Archie Gray

this new world of having to balance the books is making young British player prices plummet. He would have cost £50m a few years ago at this age, just because he was English and, well, English. I just fact checked myself and I wonder if I may be wrong - is this going to be a british transfer...

Bergvall and Gray in five years will be a very strong pairing. Might even be 2 years!

Kane looks slow and leggy. Is it me or has he lost a yard of pace?

    The transfer thread

he'd have a fight to get accepted by our fans as an ex Chelsea player and also a cheap option. Not sure he's much better than Richi in terms of output (awaiting commentary!!)...

I'd be biting the hand off utd to get sancho for 40m. It's been widely reported that's what they want for him, he's home grown, international with a point to prove, good age and available for "Tottenham" money. I'd drive there myself to pick him up (I'm in Manchester next week will pop in see if...

    Troy Parrott

I don't see his scoring 10 goals in a weaker league as being a reason he will be seen in a more positive light. 17 in the season is decent but it will be about how he steps up in better company. Our last home grown striker didn't exactly scintillate on loan, so there's more to the decision...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

He didn't though. Mathematically he earned less points, conceded more goals, finished lower in the league and lost his job. We were both alternate versions of the term basket case at the beginning of the season, and at various points both teams have been really poor, but at the end of the day...

Odd that people say that. He's mobile, good turn of pace, good footballing brain and is homegrown. You don't get to captain your club at his age without having something about you.

15 goal involvements in 28 appearances. Hardly brick is it. He had a nervous breakdown mid season. Danish you are being harsh.

    Cheatski are still scum

I'm not sure you can compare Poch to Sir Alex Ferguson, Klopp, Pep or in fact any of those you list, because while they have lost finals, they have won a shed load more. Fergie 38 Pep 38 Klopp 13 Tuchel 11 Emery 11 Poch 3 So on the law of averages Poch is vastly inferior to any of those...

    Cheatski are still scum

The only part of the Chelsea saga I would reference as an indication of his progress or lack thereof is the cup final. When they should have gone for jugular when Liverpool were largely a team of kids and VVD, he couldn't get them to show that killer instinct. Actually what he's shown at...

    Cheatski are still scum

I'd say that some of that is true - that he's got them finally playing, for instance. But the facts are that he's marked as being an "almost" man. For the positions he's held, and the ability of the teams he's had, he's fallen short. Examples such as when we came third in a two horse race, etc...

    Cheatski are still scum

He's net lost on this has Poch. Reputation is further damaged and his credibility is all but gone what with saying he'd never manage our rivals then taking the job. Failed at psg now this. He will be looking at low end prem or serie a now.

    Giovani Lo Celso

If we can get 10m for a player who is honestly not built for our league, at this stage I'd take it. He's a good footballer, but he's made of cottage cheese.

How do you define Everton? One of what, seven teams that have never been relegated in the Premier league era, huge fan base, massive history and trophy haul. I'd say they are pretty big.
