    EU transfer ruling

I never said they had to work for them forever. Football clubs don't get players to play for them forever. Just for the time agreed to in their contract.

Pretty sure all 3 examples you gave you have to agree to work for them for a period of time after your training. The military can literally put you in prison for going awol.

They don't start training them at 6 years old for a job that they won't be able to do till they are 20. Knowing that the majority probably won't ever "work" for them or earn them any money. The court seems to agree.

Other types of employment can have do not compete clauses. Clubs can spend over a decade developing a player. They should get some sort of compensation for doing so. Or what is the point?

    EU transfer ruling

Sorry not on x so can't read the thread. The independent is saying it only effects part of fifas rules and players can't just walk away from contracts. So what are the consequences?

So what has starting games got to do with it? It's 25 man squads. Not everyone can start. 5 subs only 16 can play in a game.

What has that got to do with anything?

Most forwards these day can play the front 3 behind the striker. Not sure it's making them do it. Just using them as needed.

Played in 4 games this season. While not being in the europa squad.

    Timo Werner

Yep. The fa brought in rules that agents couldn't get a fee for transfers under acertain age. So the agents shipped them abroad. Tbf probably good for the players. Then brexit.

    Timo Werner

Yep. But also got probably the best deal possible. Even if that means selling to a foreign team for less money (if you know what I mean). Also sancho might have just preferred dortmund.

    EU transfer ruling

Maybe. But a lot had to do with them cutting his pay. Which basically would have breached the contract they agreed. It's more complicated than players just being able to walk away from clubs.

    Timo Werner

Maybe. But walker had a contract and if anyone can not blink in a deal it's levy. Guessing we didn't want sancho that much. Rather than city being more powerful.

    Timo Werner

They wanted walker. We could have made it a part of the deal.

    EU transfer ruling

Think a part of it was that they were going to cut his pay. Brexit means we're not obliged to follow. But think (my assumption) is if a player in this country breaks a contract (without good reason). They'd have to pay compensation to the club.

Apart from maybe reguillon and the gks. Is there any player in the squad (that has been fit), that hasn't had decent minutes so far this season? Think ange has done a good job rotating.

If son is injured this weekend werner will start ahead of moore. That's ok.
