Cann we make the top 4 or 5?

Shouldn’t even need to be a question. We are five games in. Of course we can get top 4.

OMT: Mighty Tottenham Hotspurs vs Brentford - Sat, 21 Sept, 3pm

Why is it that the description of how Brentford play SHOULD be how we are playing but just isn’t. Instead we play at a slow plod, press high, create little and are an ‘impressive’ scalp if you could call it that right now.

OMT: Mighty Tottenham Hotspurs vs Brentford - Sat, 21 Sept, 3pm

The departure of key players? Yes if only we had kept hold of Emerson Royal and Oliver Skipp we would be top of the league by now.

OMT: Might Spurs v Coventry Wednesday 18 September, kick-off 8pm

I wouldn’t have played VDV. We don’t have cover for him so I would have preferred us to play Romero. I agree maximum of 3-4 changes. But would have wanted to start our strongest team tonight. We need to find form and get the connections established in the attacking half. And instead we...

OMT: Might Spurs v Coventry Wednesday 18 September, kick-off 8pm

Honestly I can see him stepping up and becoming a big player for us this season. We’re at the point as we were against Villa, under Pochettino, when Kane made his mark, and need a player to step up and bring some magic. Bergvall is the most likely candidate otherwise it will be Moore. But...

    Dominic Solanke

I agree except wouldn’t go ad overboard over hold up play, would just say that he’s good at it. I’d say that he needs to find the connections in attacking play which will come with time, as will his sharpness and match condition. Often takes players a few matches to get going. How many years...

*** OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Scum ***

So Arsenal’s depth is such that they have to force a youth talent into first team squad whereas we let our’s develop before they are selected for a NLD….. is another way to look at it. Mikey Moore only turned 17 in August. Nwaneri turned 17 in March, that’s a 5 month difference which can be...

100%. Although derby defeats hurt, and Arsenal at home is the one match which most Spurs supporters would want to win in the season, if only being able to choose one specific match to win, it was not the match which has hurt our season most. Arsenal are a very good unit team, excellent team...

*** OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Scum ***

For all this talk of how many shots we’re having, I’m finding it hard to remember any great chance for us yesterday. For Solanke, it was his first start since coming back from injury so it’s no shock that he was a bit off it. But he works hard, can hold the ball up, gets stuck in and I...

Robson was injured early in the Tournament if I remember rightly. It was my first real time of watching any football on tv with any caring for what happened. Must have been a concern for the majority of football public watching them both come in but Platt and Gascoigne were hugely influential...

    Europa League 23/24

You mean like a couple of seasons ago? When we beat Arsenal to top 4? This is a new era, things have changed.

    Europa League 23/24

Why are people talking about what happens if we finish 5th? We’ll finish 4th. We should aim higher than that but realistically 4th is most likely.

    Pedro Porro

Another great performance yesterday. So much confidence and ability. Gets stuck in, works hard for the team and has great attitude. And to think there were those of us that questioned whether he could be successful in a team managed by Postecoglou. He’s been excellent and keeps being so.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa ***

Villa made a big mistake of only playing a two man central midfield. That meant that they lost control of the midfield as we outnumbered them and passed around them. So instead of playing through the middle, all they could do was hit long balls which we comfortably swept up through the match...

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Palace

We should give Lankshear a go if Richarlison is out. He’s been playing well this season and has scored fastest hattrick at the stadium. So would be good if he’s at least included in the squad.

Dune 2 is excellent. Watched the midnight premiere last night/this morning. I will have to watch a second time to make sure I picked up on everything as it was a late one for the double bill. Incidentally, I thought that Dune was excellent and better than I had thought it to be first time around.

    Lucas Bergvall

Looks a great prospect. Whether he can do all that in the Premier League we will have to wait and see. But encouraging signs.

Villa 3-2 Forest. Come on Forest, complete the three goal comeback! Would be a huge result if Villa let a three goal lead drop. Not only for points but also morale.

is it fair to say that the next two weeks is Ange’s biggest test with us so far? How can he reinvigorate us? How can he get us back to attacking play which is good on the eyes and gets us the points?
