This is right. No point chasing the few that will change their mind if it alienates your core constituency.

Yes, I agreed with you that this shouldn't be a permission slip to continue business as usual, but the net zero concept is a big oil con job to do that anyway. We can't wait for that to happen if a scalable solution exists. I am a firm believer in prevention rather than cure, however, we are at...

A little hopium in these dark times. https://www.kqed.org/science/1994906/uc-berkeley-scientists-create-turmeric-like-powder-suck-carbon-from-air Most of these ideas die before birth. I see so many that hit some practical roadblock to scalability, and this might too, but some scientists I...

Yeah I think it has good support alright. And I notice there is an upswell in nationalism among young adults. I imagine some of that is being driven by right-wing influences like everywhere (increased immigration etc). So newer voters will play into this trend too I think.

Superb. You have to get down in the dirt and fight and they are notoriously bad at doing this. Trump held his base (more or less the same numbers) and Harris lost too much of hers. The prevailing narrative that the dems would have done better if only they had reached out more to trump leaning...

Ha. That sounded like a bit of a brush off on my part. Sorry. I will try get to it.

The south would also have to run their own border poll, if I recall correctly.

The dems policy package was popular and they were not proposing any new taxes. Ignorance of these policies was the issue. They couldn't;t get the message out and often Harris policies were ascribed to Trump. It all boils down to the same thing, Dems don't have the media infrastructure that the...

Theresa May? Not exactly too sure what you are saying there. I'd say the current coalition government is looking at reelection.

Not really. SF have had a scandal or two but their support was on the decline anyway. This will just accelerate that. Their support will bleed to independents mostly I would think. Generally speaking the support for the incumbent government is relatively high, hence the call for elections now to...

How many fouls did we give away in injury time? Some were soft mind but we still kept doing it over and over. No football intelligence at all..
