So we've obviously got chronic problems at 10 and 9. While we've got two made-to-measure 17 year olds in those positions who are blitzing things at youth level.

Before we get really pulled into a third relegation scrap, should we perhaps give these a go and see if we can chance on another Kane and Mason in autumn 2014 moment?

Exeter didn't even play their first team, making 10 changes to their starting line-up.
 
I would recommend anyone who thinks this is a good idea watch an academy game even if it's just on Spursplay. The standard of play and style are incomparable to mens football.
If you have ever played any football after leaving school you should remember the massive difference in physicality and experience.
Currently Williams-Barnett doesn't look fit enough to play a full game at U18 level, he has had an injury and in my view he will continue to pick up knocks as he is the type of player who encourages opponents to target him for heavy challenges.
Boast is still very raw and relies on good service from wide players, his all round game needs to develop. He looks like he will be physically able to cope with playing at senior level.
I'll jump on my old war horse and say there needs to be a level of football where U18s can be introduce into senior football as U21 level does not provide it.
