Notts is the abbreviation for NOTTinghamShire - the county name. There's no such place as Nottinghamshire Forest, so "Notts Forest" makes no sense. It's called Nottingham Forest, and the abbreviation for Nottingham is Nottm, hence "Nottm Forest". Both the county and the forest take their name from the town. It's really not that difficult, but the confusion obviously arises because of the existence of that other, older club, Notts County. The clue there is in the name.
Scoring a goal Saturday would be nice. Not losing would be even nicer. A win would be lovely. The stand-out worst start to a campaign in the club's history is still season 74-75, when we lost the first four (and the first three without scoring - stats were P4 W0 D0 L4 F1 A5 Pt0). That record's there to be broken, and I'd never underestimate Spurs' ability to find new and innovative ways of turning us into a laughing stock....
Let's not go there.
Edit: we didn't meet Forest in the league in 74-75, but we did lose 2-1 on aggregate to them in the 3rd round of the FA Cup
