Lets put it this way, he is English and homegrown and a tottenham Lad. He is good enough and better than Odobert and deserves a chance to stay with us and possibly take a place in the team. He is right footed and can play off the left or off the right. So we need cover. At the moment our starting right wing if fit is Kudus. But he is not fit. And is Moore possibly better than Tel? I think he can be. So he should battle him for the left side. He can also cover the 10 position if needed.
IF we sign an outstanding left sided player ( I dont see it at this point ) then maybe a loan. But only at that point.

he has done more in a spurs shirt that odobert has. And he had a good season in Scotland. But its all about opinion. So its mine and you are welcome to yours. I prefer to invest in the talent we have coming through that fill a sub spot with one who is not. Its not like I dont want odobert to do well, he was comign on before he got injured. I just dont want him going out on loan again unless someone of real quality comes in.
Odobert is well ahead of Mikey Moore at this stage. Honestly, it's like tradition on this place every pre season - if a homegrown young player does something of note in a meaningless friendly he will get hyped up as potentially ready for the PL squad.
Moore is not good enough for PL football currently and why he's being looked at a loan out to an inferior German league. It's the next stage of his development, and he certainly hasn't done more than Odobert in his Spurs career....

I was nothing but enthused this weekend. A couple of years ago we had young Mikey come along and get involved in the first team. Then we followed that up with the LWB emergence the season after. I know it is only pre-season but this weekend they contribute half our goals in a period where every day we read about us needing to strengthen our attack.
These guys probably don't contribute so much once the PL kicks off, but I think they're on a great trajectory with the new manager.

Yeh, I agree with this, enthusiastic weekend which bodes well for their progress moving forward.
