Bet the boys at Stokley Park were disappointed the technology confirmed the ball was over the line, they could have found or invented a reason to disallow the follow for a foul/offside/incident a couple of minutes earlier.

Its probably technically correct but in my belief not in the spirit of the original law. I've not seen this incident but thought VAR checked all goals for offside whether it was clear and obvious.

Sherwood on Refwatch said that Rohl was correct to not get a red because where else was his foot supposed to go in his follow through. Though I agree with him, where was this chat on the (at least) two occasions Romero has done the same and been sent off?

If you can’t follow through safely you shouldn’t be doing it.
