he is always rapid in games but doesn't show it much. when he does you can see he has that natural acceleration and burst from a standstill that would make him excellent in 1 v 1s

the big problem is that him and porro - not so much chemistry.

i'd be happy for djed to start in place of porro and back up for RM.

Yep, agreed.
His versatility - LB/RB/RW - should help facilitate his return, especially with our history of injuries in mind.
Earlier in his career, under several different managers and situations, one could see he had some skills, talent, and was athletic.
Djed showed promise, yet I wondered how much he really wanted it at this level? It's the PL, and it's not for everyone.
But he applied himself more in different aspects, and has made good progress since then which hopefully continues.
Still only 25, and on a relatively cheap contract for the next 2-3 years, he has some scope for more.
It would be interesting to see what RDZ can get out of him over a full season.
 
His acting and photos of him smoking a cigar etc are so cringe but looking beyond that he looks like he has bags of ability but lacks focus and the ability to harness his skill set.

He really needs to kick on.

Sums up my thoughts about him as well, there have been a few games this season when he has looked like he is going through the motions. Ability wise he is fine but not sure about his attitude in some games.
