To go back to an earlier point made, despite the rhetoric of Iran and its people being prehistoric and beneath the US, its clear that those behind Irans socials are youthful, clever sophisticated and well educated people whilst also being very funny. When you compare it with what comes out of the US, I know who look the smarter in the room to me

Iran has a great university system, it's a very well-educated country. 60% of graduates are female too.

It's going to skyrocket as a country once it democratises.

Which is exactly why we should all be supporting any attempt to overthrow the current aithoritarian, religious, restrictive regime. Yet somehow Trump has somehow managed to make us want him to be totally humbled and humiliated (whilst not wanting to see the current regime prosper).

Iran has been misunderstood for decades. Starting with the continued inability to pay attention to history. I despise the theocratic extremists like any sane person would, but the current situation has always required a smarter, more chess-like overview.

I am repeatedly amazed that anyone thinks bombing someone is going to have them feel OK about you, let alone be all-in on the fact they 'have your back'. It's staggering.
