Venue: Stadium of Light

Just over a week away so let's get talking about how we think De Zerbi will get us the points to help climb the table.
My team;
------------------------Kinsky-------------------------
Porro-----Romero----Van Der Ven---Udogie
--------------Palhinha----Gray--------------------
Bergvall-----------Simons----------------Tel
------------------------Solanke-----------------------

Subs: Austin, Danso, Spence, Souza, Gallagher, Sarr, Richarlison, Muani, Kudus/Maddison/Bentancur (if any one of them are ready)
Sunderland are a decent team with great home support. We should have beaten them at home but could quite easily have lost it in the 2nd half.
Everything goes through Xhaka, stop him and we can win this. Adingra and Le Fee are tricky so we have to try to nullify them also.
Coys!

I anticipate our brave boys trying to implement DeZerbiBall i.e. bait the press and play 20 passes around our own box, until they mess up and present Sunderland with an easy chance. At that moment our confidence wilts and we get pumped 4-0.

‐---------------Gunter
Porro---Romero---Danso---Udogie
------------Gray-------Bergvall
-Kudus-----Simons-----Tel
-----------------Richy

Genuinely no clue which of the 3 GKs will start, presumably the one who is the best under pressure with the ball at their feet

Kinsky

Porro
Romero
VdV
Udogie

Gray
Bergvall

Tel
Simons
Richy

Solanke

I would absolutely expect both Sarr and Gallagher to come in off the bench, as well as Muani.
For such foresight I would like an award please. Thank you.

That's the spirit

I think I would prefer Austin as he's been decent whenever called upon, just think RDZ will go for the official no.2

The passing around the back to create the trap for the transition is so important to his style though. The keeping abilities are pretty much secondary. We know Kinsky is a good long passer, but what's his dummies and teo footedness etc. like? And Austin and Gunter are complete unknowns on that front

So due to one game where he slips over a few times like most of our players did, we are going to forget Kinskys other games where he was pretty impressive and looked very good on the ball? The majority of you were calling for Vicario to be dropped for him not that long ago.

I say give the young man another chance.

What we get to find out is why RDZ gets paid the big bucks. In an ideal world, Kinsky would come in, keep a clean sheet and get MOTM.

That script is unfortunately not in keeping with our season though. Perhaps the football gods have finished having a laugh at our expense and will give us a break.

Austin is not very good with ball at his feet but is probably a better keeper than Gunter who can be erratic.

I know I shouldn’t do it but I’m optimistic of a win here contradicting everything than my mind is telling me. 1-3 with RDZ running down the touch line at some point in his Y Fronts. Let’s have it.
