Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

They’re really not.

Take a look at Trump’s America to get a sense of the scale of corruption that Reform would usher in. It’s different level stuff.

It's not really a proper comparison though, totally different legal systems. We have far more checks and balances here and the PM doesn't have the power of the President.

You've been posting about how Labour will be different, they're not quite on the same scale as the Tories (yet) but it's essentially the same playbook, political parties and some politicians do whatever is in their interest.

Just referring to your last point. I in no way disagree with Muslims from various parts of the world not following the Quran to that level. I’ve been to Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, India, UAE, Afghanistan. My point is one is the law and the other is the exception. I would argue that some of the places that you have mentioned are more civilised than places like Bradford, Luton, Newham in that respect.

Been to Pakistan and Afghanistan lol. Why do you lie so much?

You are an idiot of the highest order. Pakistan I have family over there and went as a teenager. Afghanistan during a flight to India our plane had to do an emergency landing in Kabul and end up staying there for a week in a hotel under security… after all we can’t have the luxury of flying on a magical donkey to a place that didn’t even exist.

Lie so much? Where do I start? I respect that you are smarter than your own religion in trying to practice equality.

I once had a friend ….

Sorry for doubting you've been there. It's sounds even more credible than before. Maybe look at what you have said the past before you lie.

They don't need to be FSCS covered because they are not a bank in the UK. But they are an e-money institution.

The fundamental difference between a bank and an e-money institution is that when you place a deposit with a bank, the bank can do what it wants with that money. Whereas an e-money institution has to ring-fence the funds either deposited with a custodian bank, or covered by a reserve provided by an insurance company. Either way any money deposited with Revolut in the UK is protected. They are a licensed bank in Lithuania and they have passported banking permissions in Ireland.
'They don't need to be' ...you mean they can't use the FSCS scheme.

Thanks for your long explanation of safeguarding.
This is quite simple for most folk. Most people would prefer the government as the ultimate backstop for their savings, and most people don't have more than 85k that needs protection (and if they do they just open another account with different institution).
That also negates the worry of 'what a bank might do with your money' ...my backstop is not with them. They could lose it all, it wouldn't matter.
Anything is possible with private companies, as we know. That's where the trust that they behave themselves comes in.

This is the issue. Anyone who cares about money would not leave any large amount in Revolut. But Silly used chatgpt to tell us some nonsense.

White Christian men.
Well done for calling it as it is. Romanian gang. I don’t know if they are Christian but if they were what reference in the bible did they use to justify their horrific crimes? It’s appalling and not ok. Did their victims come out and say what the gangs motives were? Either way I think that they should be locked away and deported.

They made you spend a week there? That seems excessive for airlines, usually would have been a quicker turn around than that to get you out, especially at the cost implication of having you there a week, under security too.

Ive had some bad ones, not that bad though
