Yang Min-Hyeok

You're all comparing him to Rasiak in your minds, but don't want to make that comparison explicitly right?

Good to see him settle in, get game time and perform. Probably some time needed before he could be ready for our first team, but seems to have real talent.

his movement - and hence reading of the game - is excellent for such a young player
I believe yang might get into the first team next season to fight with odobert who hasn't been convincing so far

I watched Yang last night, he has talent but is VERY slight. About as small and light as any Prem player I can think of. That's not to say he can't be successful, but he will often get overpowered by Prem players while he is so young.
for what its worth, modric is172cm, kudus and maddison 175, yang 176, simons 179 and odobert 182.

yang on the other hand has great balance and is quite double footed, capable of going either way. i think his good balance will serve him well in the EPL

odobert and johnson can do straight lines quickly but it feels like even a strong gust of wind will put them off course.

It's not about height its about his build. He definitely needs to bulk up, but that should be easy enough to accomplish over time. Looks very promising...

I watched a good chunk of the first half today of Pompey vs Birmingham.

Pompey are quite neat but slow in build up and always, always go to the right.
Yang was on for a pass lots of times but they just completely ignore him and go right.
Then after 20 passes they get some clogger to cross the ball in, at which point Yang has darted into the box and tries to win a header against 3 giants.

Reader: he does not win the header.

It's like he's the invisible man trying to feed off the scraps of people that refuse to ever pass to him.
Then when a pass finally comes his way he just dinks it 2 yards and dashes off, and is ignored again.
