Hi all liverpool fan here travelling to Turkey for the game against galatasaray next week, know tottenham went last year so you guys might be able to help out, seen on your website you whrte told it was mandatory buses needed to access the ground but we wont be able to reach the buses by the required time of 5:30 4.5 hours before kick off so thinking of chancing it and going straight the ground. Anyone else did this last year as you received the same message, thank you.

I went to Gala last year and there were a couple of people I know who skipped the mandatory travel arrangements and managed to get in to the ground/away section.

I think it was said that the only way you could get in was by travelling on the coaches. But as @billyiddo says above it seems some people did manage to get around that. I guess it’s a risk you take. Trying to remember - I think once everyone was off the coaches and queuing to get in that they closed the gates to the away entrance.
The coaches were pretty late setting off. Close to an hour later than the time we were told iirc, so depending on your schedule you might make it anyway.

Cheers what we want to here, its ridiculous how they treat away fans. Do you know if they make you take your shoes off on the way in? Just thinking of poetry banks that's all.
