Canning Town Bingo Club

Didn't they offer him support only a few days ago?

Odd timing, two days before a match. Something must have happened.

They've sacked all the coaches or at least most of them. Maybe Brady or Junior Sullivan will prepare the team.

A statement from the club read: “West Ham United can confirm that head coach Graham Potter has left the club. Results and performances over the course of the second half of last season and the start of the 2025-26 season have not matched expectations, and the board believe that a change is necessary in order to help improve the team’s position in the Premier League as soon as possible.

“The club can confirm that assistant coach Bruno Saltor, first team coaches Billy Reid and Narcis Pelach, lead goalkeeper coach Casper Ankergren, and goalkeeper coach Linus Kandolin have also left with immediate effect.

“The Board would like to thank Graham and his coaching staff for their hard work during their time with the Hammers and wish them every success for the future. The process of appointing a replacement is underway. The Club will be making no further comment at this time.”

Was talking to a Hammers fan 2 or 3 years ago , he told me how Kretinsky net worth 10 billion dollars was going to transform the club, seems having rich owners not always the answer.
Kretinsky isn't the owner of West Ham. There was rumours he would buy out the others to become owner but never happened....

Dunno, plenty of websites say he has a 27% share in the club.

Which means he has no real power.

  • David Sullivan 38.8%
  • 1890s holdings a.s (Daniel Kretinsky) 27.0%
  • Vanessa Gold on behalf of the Family Trust 25.1%
  • WHU LLC (J Albert Smith) 8.0%
  • Other investors 1.1%
There's rumours that Kretinsky wants to inject money, but only if Sullivan does as well. The latter doesn't have the money, so they're stuck until someone decides to sell. If the Gold family were to sell their shares to Kretinsky it's a whole new game.

It’s a shame as I see Nuno keeping them up and stabilising them again. Would have been lovely to see them float off toward the national league.
I had them nailed on for relegation with Potter. It's a bit less certain now, but they still don't have any players, any momentum or any support.
