But pretty ugly and uninspiring design. Almost a copy and paste template of these cheap to build cash cows. Not much invention or flare to them imo.

Looking at all the pictures the concourse looks unchanged (few extra flower beds :rolleyes:). So you're right. Built around not on.
The wind'll fair be a' whippin' around on matchdays!

The pitch splits in 3 so it can pass around the pillars holding up the south stand and south podium.
When the pitch is outside, that area under the south podium is used for car parking and the F1.

Worth a watch if you have never seen how the pitch splits, just the two columns supports the whole south stand , when pitch goes under south stand , centre part goes between the columns and the two outside sections on either side.

If it's ball park what they would be paying back in town or the high road.... no-one really cares, it then becomes more about convenience or what you and your mates have decided to do.

The options they're serving though probably matter more.

Had one of those, was fine but only 3.4% - then had a Madri which was absolutely disgusting and ended up leaving 3/4s of it - and I'm not even a beer snob.

I did notice a section of the goal line bar that had spirits available - not sure what that was about, is that a thing now?

They’ve served spirits the whole time as far as I’m aware, definitely had them in the Shelf Bar.

Food options seem to have changed at the Tap Inn bars in East Stand, not dramatically but noticed a few different options.

I think the kids meal was about £5.50, my son had a hot dog, which comes with chips, fruit snack and drink (water or capri sun) as well as a pack of PL cards. Decent value.
