Donna Cullen gone...first of the changes?

Now being reported that Levy is stepping down.

Silly season or are we watching evolution before our eyes ???

Almost certainly silly season, but y'day there was an interesting post on the r/coys subreddit by some bloke who described himself as working in finance and thus aware of a deal to buy the club that is close to completion (and has apparently been worked on for 18 months).

Alleged deal would be to sell us to a UAE-based consortium headed by Amanda Staveley. He seemed pretty committed to his bit too.

If (big if) this is actually true and Levy is stepping down, it would only be because we've secured new owners. Not before.

Companies House listed a change in the details of both Cullen and operations and finance director Matthew Collecott. Tottenham said there was no announcement planned on Collecott, but sources believe the Companies House notification indicates a change of role either inside the club or with Enic, who he joined in 1998.

(Taking Law at his word, I haven't looked at the Companies House info).

If Collecott is moving on, I'd expect a good 3-6 month handover to a new CFO in any case.

Some of it came from years ago because she was head of communications and was known for patronising or belittling replies to fan emails. Which was in contrast to Paul Barber, who was always warm and thoughtful with his.
I've been in contact with her on a couple of occasions over the last 3 years or so. She has been nothing but polite and in both instances, she sorted the issues within days.

I also saw something about new owners but Levy being retained.
Feels like silly season but who knows.

Actually thinking about it some more, isn't Staveley 'just' a broker, rather than someone who would head a consortium herself? (Might have that wrong).
And someone 'working in finance' posting about knowledge of a (yet to be completed) $xbn deal is not going to be 'working in finance' for much longer.

On point 1, correct, but the idea was that Staveley would be the 'face' of the consortium, which is a pretty similar role to the one she had when facilitating the Saudi takeover of Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

On point 2, that's what people in the thread pointed out to the guy - blabbing about high-profile deals you know of is a good way to get cut out of high-profile deals you know of, which raises doubts about his bona fides.

He didn't seem all that concerned though.

i don't know what these guys actually did but i don't think they did well supporting levy as best paid chairman when our footballing results were so poor

also i hope the CFOs role is also under review - to me levy favoured long term investments and put off short term investments until things started crashing. need a CFO with some footballing sense to increase equity in the squad as much as the books.

It is a fascinating situation. IF the driver of all this change is Joe Lewis' daughter, and if indeed Daniel is going to step down, if indeed Charrington or Collecott are stepping into a new role/new roles, then we are witnessing a full-tilt shift. I have no clue and am not interested in digging for clues given it will all have to be resolved much sooner than later. As a side-thought, I wonder how much this ongoing situation changes what is/was projected to happen with Ange?

? where did that come from? never been a previous indication that any of Lewis family had the slightest interest in Spurs

I can see a board shift as part of a re-structure (as part of a long term plan to improve Spurs), Levy would almost have to volunteer to step down, he's current Chairman, a major stakeholder and there literally is no one else, like who the fudge actually appoints his replacement?

It's a rumour floating in the undergrowth. It goes on to say she actively dislikes Levy!!!! Who knows. Certainly not me LOL.
