Waiting on our flight times, think they should be confirmed today/tomorrow but not flying until Weds morning, then home Thursday morning, probably going to be another all nighter like in Madrid but worth it if all goes well...

Never get the metro after the game. You'll be queing for ages. Slip off find a hotel or bar open late. Have a few drinks then get a taxi.

Same as you. When we got to Madrid in 2019 I had a season ticket, therefore got a ticket for the final. Now I'm not even a member, so the trip would be a waste of time. I would have loved the adventure, but can't help feeling it will end in disappointment

I would have got a ticket just didn't have the cash at the time, holidays, ST's to pay for and I'm self employed so taking 4 days off like my pals just wouldn't have worked for me at this time

Am excited to go to the stadium though on Wednesday

Slightly more than a mild panic this morning when I got an email informing me my 3-night hotel room had been cancelled.
Managed to get it sorted out and I still have my room (sounds like a booking.com rooster up rather than the hotel) but my stress level went from 0 to 100 in a nano second!!

I heard someone at Friday’s game saying their Air BnB had been cancellled as they were travelling up to Villa Park.

I had the same thing in Amsterdam once. We booked it well before the final, then the hotel decided they could get more. I kicked up a massive fuss and then they relented
