Personally I'd have never played it this way if I was TAA. I load of money is coming your way no matter how you played it. It's just as important to do the right thing (of course, perhaps he thinks he is), especially If Liverpool is his 'boyhood' club.

He also never said he was staying like Sol Campbell said repeatedly. He’s also moving to a league in another country which only doesn’t affect them as much as it would if he moved to another English team.
 
Absolutely disgusting treatment given to Trent. Even some other Liverpool players seemed to be effected by it.
My prediction is that next season Liverpool with not even make the CL after a mediocre start: why should their players bust a gut for a fanbase that have now shown to the world how horrible they are (yeah, i know, but even Stevie Wonder can see it now).
The us against the world mentality that has served them is now truly gone imo

Was the same in 2018 when Karius was well and truly left to walk alone after the CL final.

As a club, I hate them with a passion. Sanctimonious hypocrites.
