***OMT*** Tottenham...Thursday Night In Frankfurt

I would start with this team....

Vicario

Spence Romero VDV Udogie

Porro Bergvall Bentancur Tel

Kulu

Solanke.

With Porro in front of Spence it should make our weak right hand side stronger defensively and Porro also offers great crosses into the box. Tel on the other side will provide more of a direct threat than Son does now and I like his attitude.

I think the above team would keep us in the game longer than Johnson and Son on each wing would....

We would also have a very strong bench where positive substitutions could be made whatever the state of the game....

I feel nervous even thinking and typing all this, and at 65 I should know better than to 'hope' , but hope I do.....

Come on you beautiful Spurs.... Don't let us all down.

Thanks for typing it. It's nice to see that amongst the craziness of Ange's tactical system, fans still realise there are way more chapters in the manager's playbook that he chooses not to adopt. Your team is so logically good for a EL away game.

We both know it won't happen. I have my suspicion that if Ange even tried it, we would look like the eleven that took the field against Everton. It would be chaotic based on all those player's heads being full of his tactical ways and not being able to adjust.

That’s our best team imo, maybe Sarr instead of Bentancur, but he maybe offers better passing.

Would love to see Porro RW.

I’m also the same, always think we can pull out a performance and actually win something… this could be the time. COYS!!!

Still think this team has a shock performance in it and will win narrowly tomorrow

Id hope the Manager would want to show a performance as a job interview for his next club and the players might want to win something

Ange showed v city last year he can set up the team to defend properly

If we go all out in the first minute we will be in trouble, need to weather the early storm

To depress everyone how far we've fallen in such a short space of time?

Son and Davies would be like the 6 Music dads at an awful contemporary gig, talking about Knebworth and Spike Island.
No to show anything in football is possible.Never give up until the final whistle blows & you might just be victorious.

Like you have said i have few times on here said Porro would be better placed as a attacking wide player [he is made for that posistion imo]. I like the look of that team as well and i do think we were the better team in the first game and deserved the win. IF we can play as well then i do think we can go through.

That game makes me shiver like no other game....

I was with my son in the London Tavern or something in Amsterdam and as an adult he has only kissed me twice.. Once when we equalised and then again at the final whistle...

COYS.

I think there would have to be an adjustment to Porro's game though. He just cannot keep declining the right time to cross the ball. It is so frustrating. I would love Ange to tell these guys to get the ball in. Porro misses that golden moment 9 times out of 10 and just passes short or comes back inside. He needs to attack with more purpose.

I think he has it in him though.
