The Chich is a sloppy wet fart thread

Got tickets today for Giant at the Royal Court.
John Litglow is a favourite of mine.

The play is about a children's author who says some anti semitic things and it is about whether you can still admire someone who says or does something wrong.

Is quite apt for me as I'm a huge woody allen fan despite not really liking him as a person.

Think we can often fall into the trap especially these days when people are so partisan of seeing things in black and white.

Will be interesting to see how the as makes me feel. Not till November and a matinée so we don't have to rush for the last train but have a nice dinner on the way home.

Off to see Dr Strangelove tonight. Staying up in town so we can have a late dinner after, Birthday present from the wife, another year ticked off.

Looking forward to seeing what they do with the adaptation of a great book.

Amazing play, Coogan was electric a side ro him I have never seen when he plays Alan partridge.

Well worth it if anyone here is interested in theatre.

Bryan Cranston coming back to the west end from the 14th of November in Arthur Miller's All my Son's.

One to put on the watch list.

Up in town for a few over the next few months. Mrs Warren's profession and a Comedy About Spies.

Cheers. Will take a look at that one.
Went to see Chekov’s Three Sisters this week at the Sam Wanamaker theatre (attached to Shakespeare’s Globe). Lovely venue, very intimate, close to the stage etc. But didn’t really get on with the play. But it’s all about different experiences I guess.

I wished I has brought a cushion last time I went there.

Before we had kids taking up all our time, my wife and I went to see a Platonov, Ivanov and the Seagull triple at CFT. That was a hell of a long day but a good one.
