Funniest Sitcoms of All Time

Need some time to consider a top 5, but just throwing a few out there to start with.

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Blackadder
Mighty Boosh
The League of Gentleman
Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin
Cheers
Peep Show
Fawlty Towers
Porridge
Married with Children
Spaced
The Simpsons
Yes (Prime) Minister
(early) Only Fools and Horses
Father Ted
Extras
Soap

Agree with most of the above. I'd propose:

Still Game. I'd only watched the odd episode, but I've now watched all nine series on iPlayer. It's brilliant once you get into it.

Also the Best of Chewin' the Fat, unfortunately the full series isn't on iPlayer.

Too tough to put them in any particular order but I adore all these;

Peep show
Blackadder
Seinfeld
Curb your Enthusiasm
The League of Gentleman

I don't think both got the national exposure they deserved.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (I believe it's also the longest running, for what it's worth).

My most underrated is coupling, fantastic show that was genuinely hilarious, brilliantly crafted.

No mention of arrested development so far is absurd as well.

Is Seinfeld actually funny? Like Friends it just seems like biege stodge to put on in the background but each to their own.

I think the UK office is a work of art, but I'm not sure it's the "funniest". Not into the US version at all but many people are, so what do I know..
