So, what happened today?

Nice one, where are you headed? I live in Osaka, let me know if you need any ideas.

It's absolutely mental. Can't believe the amount of tourists over the past 12 months.

Yeh its crazy, we had to stop sending people as it was so busy, that and the fact there is now a lack of tour guides and driver because of the aging population. But our clients love it and we get so many requests for the destination

Not happened quite yet, but at Brixton Academy to see Kula Shaker support some other band I've never heard of, Ocean Colour Scene. I'm sure they'll be fine as well. Just as I was getting into the queue they closed it so Crispian Mills could get off his bus.

Never heard of OCS?

Last time I'm saw them Simon Fowler looked like my Mrs Dad :)....so strange after thinking they were such a cool bunch in the late 80's and 90's

Not lost his singing voice though

My mate literally just saw OCS last night. I saw them last in 2023. That was one of my favourite bands in the 90s.

I was lucky enough to see Paul Weller join them on stage.

I love all their acoustic stuff as well. Songs like Second Hand Car are fantastic.

Sounds like he was at the same gig as Jordinho was at above (Brixton Academy)?

I'm guessing maybe they didn't do much outside of UK. It was good, but I obviously don't know their songs. The place was packed and people were singing along. Wouldn't have guessed they were a 90s band as a couple of them looked a bit older than that.

The lead singer was born in 1965...so would have been 24/25 when they broke thru in 89/90.

So yeah 60 years old this year...don't think Simon wears the years too well?. But if he's had a good time?
