Cann we avoid the drop?

I don't care if we finish 15th as long as we prioritise winning the Europa league....

I can't see the point of going with full strength teams in the league, if some players need a rest, and still only finish 8th and go out of Europe in the quarter finals...

I first went to Spurs in 1967 and I want to see us win a trophy before I'm not here to see it!

I want a Europa league win, We are one of the strongest in it if we take it seriously and would give us Champions league football aswell. It's a no brainer, win a trophy and qualify for the Champions league, would make Ange and instant legend.

My thoughts as well, i have been lucky [old] enough to have seen us win a few trophys over the years and its a great feeling. We are in a rebuilding at the moment and a cup win will keep some of the moaners off Ange back.

You look at Europa League and it's the obvious focus for all those reasons.

What Ange has to show is -> if you can't find consistency, can you win the "must win" games? if he can, then a cup is potentially on, and a cup will buy him at least another season.

I’d also prefer to see Spurs pick up UEFA Cup if our squad lacks the depth to do both.

Hopefully the winning mentality of our 1984 team can be transmitted through Reguilon to the current squad!

Unlucky today but the result continues our bad run against top half sides this season, hopefully that 2nd half showing will give our players a fillip ahead our visit to Le Goons in a fortnight; as sounds like the injury list won’t be clearing up until end of January.

I've just watched CHE BOU
CHE scored, then BOU fought their way back to leading
Then CHE got an unlikely direct freekick equaliser with 2 minutes left
Maybe these Billion Dollar Cheats aren't as good as some make out?
Maybe these Bournemouth losers are actually rather good and it would be a huge feat for Spurs to overtake them?

Meanwhile NOT are beating LIV until LIV get a free header from a corner; free because Jota had only just come on and is only 3' tall so nobody picked him up. Lucky swines.

Meanwhile BRE fight back to draw with the mighty MNC
And soppy old WHU beat a decent FUL team.

The Prem is tough this year, eh? Such a mixed picture of who is doing what in the league, gonna be some real surprises come the end of the year.

Bournemouth manager isn't go to be there next season

9 players out and beat Chelsea.

Well at least we’re consistent and maintain our 100% record of losing every PL match against teams in CL places.

Have we ever had a back five with an average age of 22? With two them playing their first season in the PL and one of them out of position?

True… although if the gaffer hadn’t rushed back our first choice CBs (after one day’s training in Romero’s case) for the €havski match then we might not be in this predicament.

Then Gray could’ve played at LB when Spence got suspended for the Wolves match in which Udogie was injured plus Archie could’ve given Porro a much needed breather at Tamworth too.

They haven't been playing there all season:
The following losses had mostly first choice lineups:
A v Saudi Sportswashing Machine
H v Arsenal
A v Brighton
A v Palace
H v Ipswich
H v Chelsea

We also lost to Bournemouth in there with Dragusin and Davies at the back.

So that is 7 losses before the midpoint of the season with our first team playing 6 and designated deputies playing 1. Even before this "injury crisis" set in we were on course for one of our worst ever PL seasons and the loss ratio has actually just continued the trend from when our squad was fully fit and the trend from the second half of last season.

The injuries are an exacerbating factor but the main factor is how we are set up and how we execute that on the pitch regardless of who is pulling the shirt on.

Prediction table

Here's our remaining fixtures and my predictions:
Leicester (H) = win
Brentford (A) = loss
Man Utd (H) = draw
Ipswich (A) = win
Emirates Marketing Project (H) = loss
Bournemouth (H) = loss
Fulham (A) = loss
Chelsea (A) = loss
Southampton (H) = win
Wolves (A) = draw
Forest (H) = loss
Liverpool (A) = loss
West Ham (A) = loss
Palace (H) = win
Villa (A) = loss
Brighton (H) = draw

So 15 more points putting us on 39. I could see us getting up to 45. But can't see us above 50 points this season.

How's the cann table looking @Bullet ?
