    I would prefer politicians to be in the cabinet on merit, but I know both sides are as bad as each other before you point it out.

    Yet, in the run up to the election, Trump had a 2 hour interview with Musk where he spelled out almost that exact plan. At least your leader is doing what he told everyone he was going to do. Nobody here voted for tax increases or a castrated economy.

    It's not easy, her accent is impenetrable (unlike her mouth, according to a WhatsApp group people are getting in trouble for). When I do understand her, she only reinforced my opinion.

    I'm still gung ho for Ukraine. I just think that helping the US destroy the EU (by whatever means possible) is probably the second most important thing that could be done for this planet.

    Don't pretend that's not how this one is "working" too. Not only are they not experts in their fields but they've spent so long out of power, they're brick at being a political party too.

    I think we should be doing everything we can to defend them - including NATO membership. But if it ends up as US Vs EU we should be on the US side.

    Isn't that how politics work? Our Chancellor knows nothing at all about running an economy. Wes Streeting is a career politician. If you took your best medical professionals to run the Health Ministry, you'd lose a good medical professional from the industry whilst gaining a thoroughly...

    Nobody in Ireland truly wants a united Ireland. NI is a financial basket case and would bankrupt the republic almost immediately. The economy there doesn't have the heft to take on such a drain.

    It would be fairly simple for a group of people to reduce the policing in their area by continually making baseless allegations if that were how it worked.
