    Andy Robertson

Not sure mate. Milner I'd argue was still reasonably effective well into his 30s as he played a different role. Let's see; AR has my support while he's here though.

    Christian Eriksen

Best wishes to him. Wonderful player who gave me such great memories alongside Kane, Dele Son and Dembele,

    Andy Robertson

We"ll see but Palhinha and Maddison are decent leaders. .Both were important figures in keeping us up. He was someone we wanted in January so I am guessing this is a Lange signing rather than RDZ. Presumably his wages will be quite high.too so would have preferred someone younger;. His best days...

    Andy Robertson

For me Robertson was not a priority. Can see he brings a winning mentality but likely his best days are long behind him. Won't get excited until we address our priority areas though, forwards and deep lying passing midfielder.

    Robbie Keane

That may have been taught before but it's not the teachings of the faith now. Like every religion though there are still lots of people who follow whatever suits them.

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I believe the answer is Yes. The police record reported racial and religious hate crime. While I haven't found data on the number of convictions which arise from these reports, it's clear that the group described as "white" are well represented. 31.3% of victims of racially or religiously...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I'm careful not to conflate politics and religion. And I also understand that, out of respect to the many (including on here) who have suffered trauma at hands of individuals within the Catholic Church, not to go overboard praising leaders within it. But Leo XIV is showing that progressive...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I read this quote the other day that struck me as really capturing the Zeitgeist of the moment. The search for truth is an essential element of democracy … When questions about what is true lose their appeal, and a pragmatism takes hold that is content with what appears useful or effective...

Although I do hate the Chavs nearly as much (and depending on how the mood takes me, sometimes more).

Wish I could double like that post mate.

I’ll raise Madueke’s “foul” and offer you Saka’s double handball that should have been a pen. Far worse than the Sissoko one in 2019.

Yeah made my peace with them winning the PL as long as we stayed up. Couldn’t accept them winning the Cl as well.

    Champions League 25/26

Their inability to carve out decent chances from open play meant they failed to beat City and Liverpool this season and were beaten by both Utd and Villa at different times. You can dislike Wenger but at least his teams always played with a style that I was jealous of.

    Champions League 25/26

Wtf??? Other than their goal they didn’t really threaten PSG. Only one team set out to win this.
