    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

So thinks everyone in the world, except Chelski fans and the refs in charge of the game.

That was good news waking up to. Hopefully the US can start functioning like a proper and responsible country again, or at least a bit better than today.

Fair and consistent refereeing, by refs intent on following the rules of the game regardless of who is playing.

Just saw the shirt pull. How do they justify not penalising it? In what world do the refs look at that and think; "Nah, that's a perfectly fine way to stop a goalscoring opportunity"? Shocking. Again.

Distraction. Serious WW3 fears --> martial law --> no midterms.

Social media, mostly, based on an interview with a guy whose name escapes me (some US politician I think) who claims to have som intel on the administration's war plans. So yeah, I know it's probably just speculation, but the midterms are coming up and the republicans are in danger of losing...

Soooo, there's talk that Trump will nuke Iran before the midterms. As crazy as it sounds, the scary thing is that I don't find it implausible that he will start WW3 in order to stay in power. We'll see, I guess.

Meant to watch it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Quiet weekend coming up, so maybe I should try to convince the wife for a binge evening or two. 😄
