    Rodrigo Bentancur

Not progressive enough ultimately, IMO. Our transition into attack from defense can be hindered because we don't have enough passers who know where to put the ball while being pressed. Or we don't have a Dembele anymore to beat that press.

    68? Why not 69?

    Archie Gray

Seemed really involved and looked to play more on the right with Xavi playing more on the left. Looked like he linked up well with Johnson and Porro, in addition to making some nice diagonal passes. I really enjoyed watching him have so much freedom.

    Lucas Bergvall

Against other midfielders in the PL. It's a small sample size though, and I'm guessing a lot of those are a tie for first.

    Rodrigo Bentancur

Right, I think there was one moment where he made a back-pass to VDV iirc, but he turned with the ball before the pass since passing back to Romero was not the best option. So it's not a brainless safety pass; however, there does need to be some more nous or guile, or maybe it's a matter of...

    Rodrigo Bentancur

I just wish he could pass better. As others have said, maybe it's an awareness thing, but I still wish we had a deep-lying playmaker. I think we make decent runs and find space further up field, but someone needs to be able to hit those passes consistently. I don't want Bergvall to be too deep...

    Pedro Porro

I felt like one thing that he did well last night was stepping up to intercept passes on his flank. He just needs to be more clinical with the pass since that can set a proper counter-attack up.

    Cristian Romero

His brain should be fully developed now so he's probably also maturing, but agree with you. Seems like a good age for him to be captain and I hope it propels him even further to being a professional, reliable player at his ability level.

    Cristian Romero

Absolutely robbed yesterday. What a joke of a decision by the officials. I just realized his heading in the opposition box is excellent but his heading in his own box is pretty weak.

    Micky van de Ven

Still has 3 years on his contract by the end of this season. Hoping we give him a new deal by spring 2026.

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Either way, the trend is upwards so I was just genuinely curious. I'm also curious what this graph would look like without that outlier haha... guessing that would keep the last 15 years also in an upward trend.

    Randal Kolo Muani

Odobert needs to be playing more... otherwise, we should've loaned him out or sold him. I think, and hope, we will see him improve this year, on the condition that he can actually have a chance to develop. IMO, RKM should be starting up front as that's where we will see the biggest improvement...

That outlier hits hard! Why is there a green and yellow trend separately for those time periods?

    Mathys Tel

I really feel for Tel... must have been a difficult decision for the management team but Tel is the sacrificial lamb here. I hope the fans give him support.

    João Palhinha

I think as the players get more used to having Palhinha in the squad (especially our CBs), they'll interchange more freely. Romero will spend more time in the other team's box as Palhinha is a better deputy to hang back than Bentancur, and it just makes more sense all around.
