    I was wondering that. The only thing I can think of seen as Gary Neville was mentioned was that he said Martinez and Romero can give you a goal defensively, they can also score a goal. It was nothing major at all if that's what they are referring to....

    Get a grip @Kandi1977 :D You lost because you wasn't good enough, your only goal was a fluked cross and your star striker could barely get a shot on goal all game. England had the better xG, double the shots on target, your keeper had to make double the amount of saves, about the only metric...

    Like with anything, there are levels. And personally I've not seen anyone hammer a player for constantly getting injured so can't comment on that - People will complain about a player often getting injured but doesn't mean they are blaming the player himself as like you say it's partly down to...

    There's an element of luck, but not all players condition themselves the same. And when you are played week in and week out without rest to maintain his levels he deserves credit for. He has been overplayed and I hope Spence is used to rotate more this season....

    I don't think Porro gets enough credit for how fit he has stayed for us. A club who have constantly suffered big injuries, and yet his 3 full seasons at Spurs he has played in 35,33 and 34 out of the 38 games starting most of them. We are lucky to have him, and his attitude is fantastic....

    All our defenders have had plenty in a disjointed team with managers not suited to this club, he looked fine under RDZ and is the best RB at the World Cup. He is a great right back and we won't be getting better....

    Has shown why he's picked week in week out, easily the best right back for ability on the ball. And the idea he can't defend is nonsense. Doku for all his twisting and turning didn't get round him once in the previous round and he's been fine tonight too. Delighted his future is here....

    Fair enough, but it's one game you're talking about and the heat was difficult for someone like him. Kane is levels above anything else England has and any issues are with those behind him not doing enough - give him even half decent service and he's doing the business....

    Er yeah, his goals have really hindered us all the way to the semi finals and Ollie Watkins would be a much better solution. It's why top clubs are linked with Kane and Watkins is linked with Turkey....
