    He does what’s needed. Wins the ball back, passes to a team mate and lets those gifted make the most of our possession. We need someone like him that can lead from the middle, that does the ugly work and has true passion for what we’re about. That he can chip in with goals too is a bonus.

    I think Spence chosen ahead of Muani is as much about crowd control as it is a great tactical play. I think if Muani had started then supporters would be moaning about it. Now no moaning plus gives double up against Ndiaye. And Spence offers at least as much attacking.
