Well in two months hopefully we’ll sign a new striker and get it done early in the transfer window. For now I’d try Kulusevski there.

    Luca Williams-Barnett

Missed the game earlier as was out tonight. How did Kudus miss that?! LWB’s confidence is incredible as well as his technical ability. Hopefully he gets more sub appearances between now and the end of the year, followed by a few starts in the FA Cup, and league if he has earned them.

Still one of our own - HK

I remember not being overly impressed with Kane during his earlier days. We kept faith in him and he has exceeded way above the level even fairly defined as ‘exceed my expectations’. One of the very best strikers of all time.

    Ballon d'Or

It’s about what he does as an individual. It’s not a team award so back to back UCL wins counts but not as loudly as his individual performances. And it’s for that reason that the attacking bias likely exists. Goals, assists, general attacking play can be a lot more memorable than tackles...

    Ballon d'Or

But the defenders of this era are not nowhere near where the likes of Cannavaro, Maldini, Nesta, Thuram and the King were. I think the best players in the World right now ARE attacking players . But I do understand your point. In the list I think Olise should have been a lot higher. But...

Well deserved and finally he gets the appreciation that was LONG overdue.

Even the tutor is truly biased. Just identifying Chelsea issues rather than Spurs success factors.

I think only striker and review goalkeeper is what’s needed.

Chelsea only won high turnovers and mostly from our errors. But we dominated possession, controlled the match. You look at what Chelsea supporters are saying and, from what I’ve seen, most credit us as the better team and say Chelsea played poorly.

Rogers should have been sent off. Rogers made no attempt to get the ball and just kicked the player.

Thank you! Now the match is saved. I rarely have faith in life’s events but this OMT has prompted me to have a rethink. It’s indeed a new dawn for all of Spurs. It’s time that we started a record at their’s that we ALWAYS win every time we play there. Records have to start somewhere right...

    Omar Marmoush

Am I right in thinking we saw evidence of Guardiola’s coaching there? The way that Marmoush let the ball past him to then turn on to it and finish

Almost like I said before the season started. Robertson was signed many thought fit his leadership and then wasn’t named within the pool of captains. Even Gray was. And his defensive performances have been lacking as far as I think.

    International Break September/Ocobter 2026 Thread

I agree with the Spurs element. 😆 but to know no football, nothing to distract during the weekends. And there’s always other matches for fantasy league, for bets and for chatting. International football just doesn’t land the same. Especially not friendlies and nations league 🤷🏻‍♂️
