    I'm wary of going in two-footed on Lange without knowing more of what his role entails. If he is heading up player identification and then passing on to Vinai/the higher ups to pursue deals then I'm not sure the vitriol aimed at him is warranted.

    It was a great result - probably the biggest now in hindsight. Not to diminish it but we were very fortunate that they had so many first XI players missing - could have been very different, bit of luck going our way for a change!

    Gazza & Hoddle before my time really - the way my Dad says it is that Gascoigne was not a patch on Hoddle in terms of ability. Mackay probably deserves a shout - the older generations always name check him as one of our best ever players
