Fixture & Ticket News 25/26

I got mine in 1978 - neighbouring seats said my predecessor was an older guy who was in failing health. Good one, almost half-way line and 3 rows back from the camera gantry. Hoddle etc, scraped promotion.

In those days it included all league, cup, and combination games - anything at WHL.

When I first got mine 2015 it included the first two home cup games. Can’t remember when they scrapped it.

Waht a season that was, i missed one game that season [Hull away] and it opened my eyes to to see some of the away stadiums and what a change it was from being at the Lane.

Hull at home late in season - a flurry of corners early on had us keeping count. We went ahead after the 28th. FFS - 28 ! One was a goal kick played slightly backwards to a distracted defender that raised a few laughs and fruity language between them.

The wretched home form (Tuesday aside) isn’t helping. We’re not exactly a fun watch most of the time. I can’t shift my ticket for Fulham at home. Doesn’t help that it’s an 8pm kick off on a Saturday night. I couldn’t believe the number of empty seats the other night! Dunno what the official attendance was but couldn’t have been more than 40,000.

I’m going Tomorrow and we have a good record against Utd recently so I’m more confident than I was against Chelsea.
49565 vs Copenhagen, pretty good…

Even though Fulham and Brentford have gone to guest sale that doesn't help someone registered on the CRN ticket database if they don't know a ST or member or have I got that wrong as i read it they still would need a ST or member to actually get the tickets for them.

How does that work regarding available seats? Does it indicate quite a few didn't renew, or are they eating into membership sale seats to lock in some income?

My assumption is that it’s possibly linked to membership seats. If it’d been non-renewals then the message would have gone out shortly after the renewal deadline.

There was a definite drop in ST numbers from last season so there are extra seats available, using the loayalty points table as a guide last seasons total of St's was 42410 this season it was 40,891 a drop of 1,521.
Cost of living, non-renewals , the Son factor , home form, take your pick for the reason.
The fact that Fulham and Brentford have both gone to guest sale does indicate a lack of demand for less attractive matches, not good news for ST's who make regular use of the Ticket Exchange.

Does the exchange only go live once the club states it's a sell out?

I think so , doesn't look like it's open for Fulham/Brentford as there are still a few hundred tickets available left over from the members sale, can't blame people for not buying apart from Burnley match performances at home in PL have been terrible.
When TE opens they usually send out an email, don't remember one for fulham/Brentford.

I wonder if membership numbers have fallen too? After giving up my season ticket four years ago I bought memberships for the family but didn't renew after two seasons as so few tickets were ever available after the allocations to supporters clubs etc.

165 points needed for Saudi Sportswashing Machine away ,I know Saudi Sportswashing Machine is usually one of the lowest needed but does anyone know how that compares to last season, is the crackdown on selling away tickets taking effect
