Paris St-G v Tottenham - Home Team Over/Under 3.5 goals
Over = odds 4.5
Over 4.5 for the home team was 18/1 on sky bet earlier
Stevie Perryman says hi.One thing we as a club have to fix and the manager has to be firmer on is players playing their actual position they have trained for most of their career
some roles are just so unique in a football team and for me that’s GK and CF. They are ones that you have to know how to play for scrutiny different reasons
I fudging hate it when it’s a. Case of “he is a great option he can play several positions including Cf”… it’s utter gonads. It’s putting a warm
Body in position they haven’t been good enough to hold down their whole career
Stevie Perryman says hi.
"As a teenager, I was an inside forward—what an old-fashioned term that is! More of an attacking midfielder than a defensive one. But by the time I broke into the first team at 17, I was the defensive one in a midfield three, alongside Martin Peters and John Pratt (and later Alan Mullery). I was happy to do that. I was young, playing in an experienced team, and I wanted to be selectable. If that meant using my young legs for defensive duties, so be it.
“I even played a season at centre-back, and I spent my last four or five seasons as a right-back."
OK maybe he's the exception that proves the rule.![]()
Yeah, Bale also had spells at LW, RW and even striker. Sol Campbell started at LB and RB before moving to CB.Henry was a winger. Bale was an lb. Sol campbell a striker.

Yep
So he played his career there
He wasn’t suddenly a striker at 25?
RichyWhich player have we been playing out of position?
Richy
He isn’t a CF
He is a left winger that has played about 100 games there
He's brazils number 9. Who has played more games there than any other position.

Stevie never claimed to be a striker, nor was he ever expected to be. When played as an attacking midfielder his role was principally as a ball-winner, supplying the striker and other forwards with ammunition. His rapacious sliding tackles were a thing of beauty throughout his long career.Yep

He is average is both positions because he has become a jack of allDCL was the number 9 at Everton. Richi was always in the channels unless DCL was injured. RIchi also a left channel player at Watford.
Neymar, Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr and Raphina don't play 9. They play in the wider channels. I think Rchi adjusted for his country who also had Bobby Firminho to lead the line. He has played well in his 50 caps to be fair.
I think Richi can play both positions, but I would lean more to a left forward as his best position. Perhaps that changes as he gets older. I don't have a problem with us using him as a 9 though.

International footy is a poor standards and Brazil are brick
Hey if your happy with him as our back up striker then coolThose stats are club football. International is on another page.
Hey if your happy with him as our back up striker then cool
If like a guy who has spent his career there
He has nowI've not said anything about if he's good enough or not.
Just think if we are going to discuss things we should try and keep to the facts.
Richarlison has played most of the games of his career as a striker.
