I hope he performs better than I have seen so far. :D

Edit - pronounced more like Hoy-beer... as opposed to Hoj-berg

Position In which we are weak.
Deal done early.
Prem experienced.
Former captain - an on the pitch organiser.
Small outlay.
Potential to tinkle off SCBC fans.

what’s not to like?

Fee appears to be in the region of £15m

This is what Spurs have been lacking for so long - some leadership and winning mentality. Please, watch the clip below. This attitude will raise our game, even before you factor in what having an actual, proper DM would do

He's the future Tottenham captain.

This interview from a few month back with him is essential listening. Miles away from the usual say nothing drivel footballers come out with.
Only 24 he already sounds like he will be the most mature person in the Spurs dressing room.

Yeah, this is a good interview, worth a listen.
I caught it earlier this year and it really made me see that he can hopefully bring intangible qualities to the team as well as the more obvious stat-friendly outputs.

Agree. Hopefully this guy with help set the right sort of standards, in the same way which Kane demonstrates the right standards needed in training and with lifestyle etc
