what happens if you drop your toe nail in your ear?

I was clipping them just now when i got the usual swishing sound i have in my ear, ever since i had an op a year ago for a minor condition i have. Anyway it was annoying me just now and i had a long toe nail and i just clipped it and used it to scratch at the wax inside my ear but as my head was tilted it dropped in.

I can not feel it rattling around in there but im a little concerned by it, do you it will damage the brain?

The thought of chich scratching his ear with his clipped toe nail. Go to A&E... Reminds me when some dude I worked with got excited at the thought of cakes I bought for everyone, saw them and whipped out his headphones, only for the inner piece to get stuck in. Then he tried fishing it out with his fat fingers and lodged it right in. He actually did have to go A&E... only after he polished off half the cake

Is more then a little concerning because the vision in my right eye has been going in and out all day. Thinking about popping to a&e to see what they say. I have had some embarrassing experinces in there but this may take the biscuit.

I'd go to A&E mate, better safe than sorry. Also, the eye thing if it's not related to the toe nail it's probably a good idea to go get it checked out anyway. The worse I've heard is a mate getting a toy miniature lightsaber (the ones for the little figurines not the full size ones) stuck in his ear after playing with his son.

You need genetic tests to determine why you only have one toe-nail. Most people have one for each toe, even those from Kentucky.
