Hi
I had a leaflet from virgin media come through today. Decided to have a look at it.
There TV package they have is pretty much the same thing as sky so looked at costing.
Currently for broadband, phone line and sky TV i pay £123.15 per month, i have the full package, espn, HD and multiroom. We only have HD for the lounge not in my bedroom.
Virgin will do the same thing for us for £96.90 per month (£81.90 for the first 3 months)
Saving £26.25 a month which is a whopping £315 a year!
Pros of switching over to Virgin.
Cheaper
2 HD boxes
can record 3 things and watch a 4th
the boxes hold MUCH more than sky boxes
if the box goes wrong they send an engineer out FREE.
Cons:
Sky is what we are used to.
At the end of the day all we watch it, football, documentaries and general stuff. All the channels I watch are on the virgin network.
It’s a big saving,, has anyone else considered changing?? is it any good?
I will call sky about my findings and see what they can do.
