Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

This is only part one of the right course of action. The most important step is what happens next. Who comes in.

Im very happy that Frank has gone. Two wins in seventeen is a disgraceful record. It shows that he can talk the talk but can’t always translate it into performances and results on the pitch.

We needed change. We have acted later than we should have.

Good luck to him but happy not to see him ever again at our club.

CLUB STATEMENT - THOMAS FRANK

Wed 11 February 2026, 10:17|Tottenham Hotspur

The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.

Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.

However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary.

Throughout his time at The Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.

"Well done boys, good process"

Those involved in his appointment should walk with him.

Agree the selection of managers has been disastrous. I never believed he was the right choice for us but it's easy to see who isn't right after the event. I never thought Jol or Pochettino would work as well as they did.
I do not know anything about foreign football so I couldn't possibly nominate anyone from abroad and don't think they could come in and change our situation this season.
We missed the boat with Carrick, he appeared to tick all the boxes to me, knew club, wonderful player, experience in British football, not a big head.
