Stadium Tour

Afternoon everyone. Apologies if there is a thread on this or if this is in the wrong section but had a quick search and couldn't find one and I'm looking for a bit of advice.

I have a 4 month old son who I want to take to the stadium on a non match day just so he can have his photo outside the gates as a keepsake for when he's older. We recently bought one of those baby carrier/sling things like the one Alan wears in the hangover and when we put him in it, he absolutely loves going out for walks regardless of what sort of mood is he's in. This made me think that it could work to take him on a stadium tour.
Now, obviously I'm not expecting him to know where he is or what's going on but again, my thinking is that the photos would be a nice bit of memorabilia for him in later years and something he can always have to show that he went to the "old" White Hart Lane (not sure I will ever get used to calling it that)

So, has anybody on here taken an infant on a stadium tour and if so, how did it go?

I'm quite conscious that a babies presence may disrupt the tour for other people too so even if you have been on one with another baby present, it would be great to know if it affected the experience in any way. I don't wanna be that guy who ruined everyone elses tour.

@Earz - When I did a tour a few years back on a quiet weekday, it was only my missus and me and one other person, so a baby wouldn't have bothered anyone.

Having said that, the Club do several tours specifically for kids during the year. The website also says that the classic tour is suitable for children and the whole family, so I think you and the wee one would be grand no matter what.

I'm sure I heard Stephen Mangan on the radio saying he took his baby on the tour so that he could induct him into the club.
 
I had a contact at the club for yours
I've been talking to him about a "baby tour" for young kids (my daughter is 3)
He has been really helpful and happy to accomodate but there are caveats

It has to be mid week and it has to be booked in advance so he can cost it accordingly

Thank you, that would be very helpful. I have a couple of days booked off work in February so was planning on doing it then.
 
I'm going to book one up for half term in February, me my mrs, her 7 year old and my little 1 year old
 
Heads up for anyone who wants to do a tour, you need to book at least 3 weeks in advance. Been a nightmare getting one booked and getting time off work but finally going on April 10th. My boy will be 7 months by then.

We're going on the 21st and my boy then will be 19 weeks

Their stopping them at the end of the month
 
Not a stadium tour but i have been given the opportunity to go to Hotspur way on Thursday and have a kick about, lunch and tour. Unfortunately non of the players will be there but will get to meet some club legends that would be nice.

Anyone been to the training ground? i heard it is unbelievable?

I've been - we weren't even allowed in the first team area, just the youth, and that was spectacular. Would love to play football there. Incidentally, I once won a competition to play at Spurs Lodge - wasn't quite as nice. Scored 2 absolute screamers though.

Just like GKN, I visit one Spurs game per season and it's going to be United this weekend. (Bought the plane tickets in October with the hope of the new stadium.)
I've checked the official website for stadium tours and all I can do is "registering my interest for a possible attraction" here.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not the same thing when the ST holders had the chance to look around at Nike Hart Lane, is it?
I'm a One Hotspur member, but markysimmo's daughters have probably more Loyalty Points than me.
What do you think, is there any (legal) chance to get into the stadium? (Aside from the Sainsbury's and the Shop.)
 
As with most things stadium, nobody knows. But given that the headline of the page your link points to is Stadium Tours, I don't think you could go very much wrong by registering your interest. If it turns out you get an offer for something besides actual stadium tours, you don't have to book everything on offer if you don't want to.
 
Got tickets for stadium tour next week from a mate for my 40th. Has anyone got any tips on a good area to stay if we want to make a night of it? Will be driving down in the afternoon (Tour is at 4pm) but was thinking of going out for food and a few drinks somewhere and staying the night.

Any ideas for somewhere that's easy to get to and has some stuff to do?

What's your budget? Shoreditch is my first thought, plenty of good places to eat and drink and a short walk to Liverpool Street for a train up to the ground.
