But yeah - Bill Nich, Alf Ramsey, Venables and Hoddle - our greatest ever manager and 3 of England's most successful post-war managers too.

I think the problem now though is that most of the coaches currently in the game are associated with our sustained period of failure (esp 1994-2004), rather than our times of success (1950-1974 and 1976-1991)
