A little early for this you may say? Well, I figured it might be good to think about these goals as and when they go in. I got thinking about it last night, on whether Sandro's goal was better than Defoe's against the Hammers. Then there was Bale's at Old Trafford. Townsend at Carlisle. Any others spring to mind?

For me, Sandro's is leading the way. Definite intended technique, which was executed perfectly. It might look like a keeper error, but it was the skill in the shot that foxed him, clever indeed. So for me, the Brazilian Kung-Fu GHod leads the way!
 
I liked Lennon's goal against Liverpool thanks to Bale's assist. And Lennon lurking at the back post, good team goal.
 
I would say that Defoe's goal is the best so far though. The shot from outside the area and the skill to beat the West Ham players.
 
Recently, Defoe's against the Hammers. It was out of nothing and he had plenty of players to beat to get a shooting opportunity. Then the shot had to be inch perfect to beat the keeper. Finally it was a goal that opened up the game for us and set us on this decent run.
 
Defoe 1st v West Ham so far me. Nothing on at all when he got it in the right wing, brilliant control followed by a top-notch finish.
Had it all for me.

Sandro's was indeed a good strike, but Defoe edges it

I thought Defoe's second against Reading was pretty good, but I agree with the posters who have plumped for JD's opener against West Ham.

Keeper got across to it but watching that he was deceived by the bounce at the last moment. i can easily see why it got past him.

What a peach though.
