Slayer Guitarist Jeff Hanneman Dead

Founding member of Slayer, Jeff Hanneman, died of liver failure today. He contracted some flesh eating disease from a spider bite 2 years ago.

Personally really really upset by his death. Did a lot of work with them over the years and always got on well with him. He was a shy man really, and his interest in war, etc, was fuelled by his father and brother having been in two wars respectively. He loved playing and he love riffing. Brought the punk edge to slayer which made them special, brutal and abrasive instead of just another metal group. A massive, massive loss...
