Do not want to trivialize health matters with what Roy is going through. But has anyone else got this stomach bug that is going round?

I threw up last night for the first time in probably 40 years(not drink related) I was groaning so much in the night it felt like someone was kicking me in the side.

Anyone know how to get rid of this sort of bug? Usually when I have a cold or flu I ride the fcuk out of it, and just beat the bugger and sweat it out. But I cant even walk properly.

I'm no doctor of course, but I'd think the standard nothing to eat, plenty of fluids - not the kind you normally exchange with DFS - and rest, and you'll be fine in a day or so.
 
Yep plenty of rest, sip water and eat dry foods has always worked for me as well as sweating it out.

We can play another day biitch today I am to ill to care. Having the weirdest dreams, just been asleep and had a conversation with my dead mother it was like she was in the room.

This is really really weird and freaking me out a lit

We had an argument pretty much like we always did when she was alive. She was a self hating Catholic, one reason why when we went to Rome I refused point black to go in the Vatican.
 
The Norovirus? I had it last week. ****ting and puking for a few hours, then slep for almost 24 hours, back to more ****ting and a bad stomach ache, some more sleeping, and finally fine after a total of 3 days.

Sounds like a normal day to me at the moment with work chucked in too! Albeit restricted my hours to 25. Horrible **** huh????
 
No dodgy food that I know of, now going on for about 36 hours since I eaten anything, doubt I could do that if I tried normally.

Living on Lucozade at the moment.

I still have not eaten which is odd for me and I am shivering a little. But not throwing up, had a good night on betfair knew west ham and liverpool would come back.

How are you doing when you at the hospital next?

9th January is my op date. Til then it's seeing blood in my pee 3/4 times every day so just 120 of those left!! All good apart from that.

I think that is the Russian Christmas I am sure that is when my Latvian friends celebrate it, maybe a good sign.
